Freedom of Information
The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) provides a general right of access by any individual to recorded information held by the Company.
Our publication scheme and this website may provide you with the information you require, so please check this first.
How to make a request for information under FOIA
To be valid under FOIA the request must:
- be made in writing by letter, email or fax;
- have a full contact name and return address;
- clearly and legibly describe what information is required;
- contain details of the format you would like the information to be sent to you.
You can make your request by post to:
Business Support Manager
North West Fire Control
Lingley Mere Business Park
Lingley Green Avenue
By telephone 01925 713170
By email: email@example.com
We will respond to FOIA requests within 20 working days of receiving the request. If we are unable to do this we will contact you to explain why there is a delay and to let you know when you can expect a response.
If you are requesting details of information that we may hold about yourself (your personal data) you will need to make a Data Subject Access Request.

If you wish to do this, you should write to the Head of North West Fire Control at NWFC or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
If you are not content with the outcome of your complaint, you may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision. Generally, The ICO cannot make a decision unless you have exhausted the complaints procedure provided by North West Fire Control.
